comprising a vesta by E V Pledge & Son, Birmingham 1886, rounded rectangular, shaped for the pocket, plain, gilded to interior; a card case by William Neale & Son, Birmingham 1906, rounded rectangular, shaped for the pocket, plain, with diagonal hinged cover, gilded to interior; a cigarette case by Henry Williamson Ltd, Birmingham 1915, rounded rectangular, shaped for the pocket, with banded engine-turned decoration front and back, the cover with a vacant circular reserve, gilded to interior; and a compact by Walker & Hall, Chester 1938, circular, with engine-turned decoration front and back, the hinged cover with a vacant circular reserve.
