Engraving to the cover worn and illegible, a slight split has formed on the side with the hinge, looks to be where two smaller pieces of metal have been joined in the construction of the box rather than through damage, one back corner slightly dented, the cover opens and closes tightly, the gilding bright, hallmark clear.
