AN ELIZABETH II SILVER GOBLET

by George Edward Grant, London 1971, the plain bowl raised on a textured collar above a spreading stem, no. 49/60, signed with initials. 14.5cm high, 5.9 troy ounces

George Edward Grant was born in 1935 and studied at the Central School of Art before being apprenticed to Leslie Durbin. He later worked for Michael Murray before setting up a workshop on Rosebery Avenue in 1959. He later moved to Chelmsford, where he also taught.
